How do I add a game to my shelves?
Search for the game, open its page, and tap the shelf button. You can mark a game as Want to Play, Playing, Played, or Did Not Finish. Alternatively, you can create and add games to custom shelves.
Can I use Efohvee without an account?
Add the game to your Played or Did Not Finish shelves, you will then be prompted to rate and write a review. A written review is optional — a rating on its own still counts toward the game's average.
Can I use Efohvee without an account?
Yes, for a while. You can browse games, lists and profiles without signing up. Creating a free account is what lets you build shelves, rate games, write reviews and follow other people.
How do I hide mature content?
Settings → Hide mature content. This hides games rated 17+ across the app. A second option lets you also hide games that have no age rating at all, which is a large part of the catalogue.
Someone is posting something they shouldn't be. What do I do?
Tap the menu icon on any review, comment or profile and choose Report. You can also block the account, which hides their content from you and yours from them. We review every report within 24 hours.
How do I change my display name or username?
Settings → Edit profile.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, shelves, ratings, reviews and follows, and cannot be undone. See our account deletion page for the full details.
Why is a game missing, or why is its information wrong?
Our game data comes from IGDB, a community-maintained database. If something is missing or incorrect there, it will be missing or incorrect in Efohvee too. Email us and we'll take a look.
